    Will the photo still look good?

    The tool keeps the highest quality that fits and only reduces the pixel size when it has to. At 100 KB, most photos stay sharp on screen.

    Is 1 KB 1000 or 1024 bytes?

    Upload forms differ. The result is always below the limit in both counts, with a small margin, so it passes either way.
