AI image upscaler

Blowing up a small picture normally just makes it blurry. This upscaler uses Real-ESRGAN, an AI model trained to rebuild sharp edges and remove JPEG blocks, so a 500 px image becomes a clean 2000 px one. It works best on small, compressed photos, screenshots, old web images and artwork. Drag across the result to compare it with plain resizing.

FAQ

Does AI upscaling add real detail?

It rebuilds edges and textures that look plausible; it cannot recover information that was never in the photo. Faces and small text in tiny images can come out smooth or slightly different.

How large can the result be?

Up to 16 megapixels, for example 4096 × 4096. Larger inputs are reduced first so the result works on every device.

Is my image uploaded?

No. The AI model runs in your browser, on your graphics card when possible; the image never leaves your device.
