Rotate an image

A phone photo that shows up sideways on the PC, a scan that is upside down, a selfie you want mirrored: turn the picture in 90° steps or flip it, then download. The rotation is applied to the pixels themselves, so the photo looks right in every app, not only in the one that reads rotation tags. Crop in the same step if you like.

FAQ

Why does my photo look rotated in one app and not in another?

Phones often store the rotation as a tag instead of turning the pixels. Some apps ignore the tag. The image saved here is really turned, so every app shows it the same.

Does rotating reduce quality?

PNGs stay lossless. JPGs are saved once at high quality, which is not visible in normal use.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Cropping happens in your browser at full resolution; the photo never leaves your device.
