    Will the PNG be sharp?

    Yes. Each SVG is drawn fresh at the size you pick instead of being stretched from a small picture, so edges stay crisp at 4× or several thousand pixels wide. Browsers allow about 16.7 megapixels per image (4096 × 4096); bigger requests are reduced to fit, and the result says so.

    Why is text or an image missing from the PNG?

    For security, browsers don't load images or web fonts that an SVG links to by URL when it is turned into a picture. Fonts installed on your computer still work. For an exact result, convert text to outlines (paths) in your design app, or embed images directly in the SVG before exporting.
