Color picker from image
Drop a photo, logo or screenshot, then click the exact pixel you want. A magnifier shows the pixels around your cursor, so you can hit a thin line or a single dot. You get the HEX, RGB and HSL values with one-click copy, plus the main colors of the whole image. The picture is read by your browser and never leaves your device.
Click or tap to pick. On a touch screen, drag to aim and lift your finger to pick.

FAQ
How do I get a color from my screen or another website?
Take a screenshot (Windows: Win+Shift+S, Mac: Cmd+Ctrl+Shift+4 copies it to the clipboard), then press Ctrl+V or Cmd+V on this page. The screenshot opens right away and you can pick from it.
Why is the code slightly different from what my design app shows?
Photos and JPEGs are rarely one flat color: compression and soft edges change neighbouring pixels a little. Use the magnifier to pick from the middle of an area. Images saved with a wide-gamut profile (such as Display P3 from an iPhone) are converted to standard sRGB by the browser, so their values can differ from an editor that keeps the original profile.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Touch the image and keep your finger down: the magnifier appears above your finger so it doesn't hide the spot. Slide to aim, then lift your finger to pick. Drag off the image to cancel.
How are the main colors found?
A small copy of the image is grouped into similar colors, and each group is shown as a real pixel color from the image, sorted by how much of the picture it covers. Transparent areas and tiny specks are ignored, so a very small accent may be missing. Pick it directly instead.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Everything runs in your browser. The image is not sent to a server, so it works with private screenshots and unpublished designs too.
