HEIC to PNG converter

iPhones save photos as HEIC, which Windows, many websites and editors can't open. Convert them to PNG when you want a lossless copy for editing, design work, printing or cutting out, with no extra JPEG compression on top. The photos are decoded right in your browser and turned upright using the orientation your iPhone stored.

    Why are the PNG files so big?

    PNG is lossless, so a 12-megapixel photo becomes 15–25 MB. That's fine for editing; for sharing, convert to JPG instead (HEIC to JPG) or reduce the size above.

    Is location data removed?

    Yes. The converted files are written from scratch without the EXIF/GPS data your iPhone stored.

    Are my images uploaded?

    No. Every image is decoded and saved again inside your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
